• Aasara Pension ‘Aasara’ pension scheme is meant to protect the most vulnerable sections of society in particular the old and infirm, people with HIV-AIDS, widows, incapacitated weavers, and toddy tappers, who have lost their means of livelihood with growing age, in order to support their day to day minimum needs requiring to lead a life of dignity and social security.
  The pension scheme was started on 8 November 2014 by the Chief Minister of Telangana,
  Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao in Kothur in Mahboobnagar district.
  The government is spending ₹5,500 crores every year on the scheme.
  From 2020-21 the government is providing an Aasara pension of Rs. 2,016 to senior citizens,
  widows, beedi workers, filaria victims, single women, handloom weavers, toddy tappers and
  AIDS victims, and Rs. 3,016 for disabled pensions.
• Haritha Haram
  It is a flagship programme of the Telangana Government envisages increasing the present
  24% tree cover in the State to 33% of the total geographical area of the State.
  It was launched on 3 July 2015.
  The thrust areas to achieve the above are two-fold; one, initiatives in notified forest areas,
  and the other, initiatives in areas outside the notified forest areas.
• Kanti Velugu
  The Programme launched on 15th August 2018.
  The Telangana Government has embarked on a Noble Project of achieving “avoidable
  blindness-free” status by conducting a Comprehensive and Universal Eye Screening for the
  entire population of the State.
• Mission Bhagiratha
  It is a project for safe drinking water for every village and city household in Telangana State.
  It aims to provide piped water to 2.32 crore people in 20 lakh households in urban and 60
  lakhs in rural areas of Telangana.
  It was launched on 6 August 2016.

• Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao launched the scheme on August 17, 2015.
• The scheme was launched at Gangadevipally, a village in the Warangal district.
• The scheme has a fund of Rs. 25000 crore.
• The purpose of the scheme is to strengthen villages in areas viz. water and sanitation, health and nutrition, education, social insurance and poverty eradication, natural resources management, agriculture, and infrastructure.
• It'll ensure the inclusive and holistic development of villages through people’s participation in
  planning and collective decision-making. Each village is going to be allocated Rs.2 crore to Rs.6
  crore betting on their population.

• The Water Grid Project in Telangana is known as Mission Bhageeratha.

Haritha Haram Program:
It is nothing but a flagship program of the state of Telangana.
It was initiated in the year 2015.
It aims to increase the green cover of the state.
It mainly aims to increase the forest cover of the state from the present 25% to the 33%.
The objective is to rejuvenate the degraded forests.
It also wants to protect the forests against the smuggling, encroachment, fire, grazing etc.
The first phase of Haritha Haram program was launched by the Chief Minister of Telangana
at Chilkur on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
The second phase of Haritha Haram program was launched by the Chief Minister of
Telangana at Gundrampalli village in the district of Nalgonda.
Under this program Urban Forest Parks will also be developed.
These UFP will provide healthy living environment, clean, green, sustainable and healthy
cities in Telangana.
